Astro-Tarot Readings for Libra Season

This is a wee taster this month as these are usually reserved for my Shine Time Members but this month I felt pulled to share what the readings are like. Have a look for your sun and rising signs as see how the invitations resonate.

If you’d like to have access to these each month (along with all things Shine Time Tarot, Spiritual explorations and many more really beautiful and supportive things) then head to the Membership Area and join us there.

Libra Season has Tarot connections to Justice, Judgement and High Priestess (20/02), The Empress and The Queen of Swords.

There is a sense of real compassionate discernment that we can engage in around the habits, routines, rituals and supportive structures we were exploring in Virgo Season. Can we be really honest with ourselves about what is working and what isn’t for us?

Aries

Card Pulled: Empress

This card is such a beautiful support for you my dear Aries because the Empress is the internal counterpart to your Emperor energy. You  are being asked to balance your more external facing nature with some internal exploration and guidance. We work better out in the world when we are really rooted and connected with our internal one. We can grow up and out to take up our space in our own lives in a more beautiful and fulfilling way when we are watering our root systems. Which of your internal foundations are needing a little tending loving care in this season with the Empress as one of our Libra cards?

Taurus

Card Pulled: 3 of Swords (reverse)

There’s nothing to fear in the telling of the truth. You are well used to being pulled towards ‘true for you’ knowings as it’s part of your Hierophant nature. When we expose the truth, sometimes we are made aware of the role we’ve been playing in upholding a thing that isn’t healthy; a story or way of being that we were taught that we can now see isn’t right or true for us anymore (or never was). Truth is power. Once we see how something isn’t for us anymore, we can do the work around pulling that sword out so the wound can finally, properly, heal. There is no room for shame in this healing. Now we see it, now we heal it.

Gemini

Card Pulled: King of Wands (reverse)

Something in this month is asking you to consider blazing that trail that you’ve been side-eying for some time. You are being shown that there is a new way to be and a new way to relate to your life and if you want to go forth and explore it, you are being highly supported to do so. The Queen of Wands is the witch of the deck and the internal work that is needed in order to be able to embody this pathfinding energy. You are being asked to consider how you connect to your very unique brand of magic. How do you show up as your most connected self and what are the tools you need to bring with you for the journey?

Cancer

Card pulled: 4 of Swords (reverse)

Moon baby! You have been and are being pulled into your heady things again (and that’s okay!). We are being asked to find balance and harmony with our thoughts and our feelings and how they influence each other. Funnily enough this works best when we set some boundaries for ourselves and get more into our bodies (go figure). Can we find ways to allow our thoughts and feelings to play and frolic within our bodies? What does that look and feel like?

Leo

Card Pulled: The Emperor

Oh your fiery nature is going to love this energy for this season. You are being asked to feed your external flame so that you are showing up as your most bold self. Something in this season is asking you to let yourself shine; to take up your space in the most healthy and connected way you can. This doesn’t need to mean big showy things, it just means showing up for you, in your life as yourself. You’ve done the work needed behind the scenes so that you can do this more easily.

Virgo

Card Pulled: The Fool

We aren’t mad at this one, are we my love? We love a fresh start. We love a new notebook and new pens and a new calendar or a fresh sheet of paper. We’ve been tinkering with ‘fresh starts’ and new routines and ‘turning the page’ themes for a wee bit now. Guess what? We need to take that first step. We need to trust and remember that we are taking a whole bag full of tools and life experiences with us when we step out. It’s not baby steps but a trusted, well equipped leap. The leap is most likely and internal shifting that we are now fully embracing. Only our trusted folks may know how big a deal it is for us. But we are ready for something more.

Libra

Card Pulled: The Hermit

You wouldn’t expect to be pulled to hermit away in your own season would you? But that is what you are being asked to do; to pull back and do some step by step basics. The considered and intentional moves you make in this season are going to have lasting effects around the direction of something in your life. In the slowness you will best be able to show up for yourself with real compassionate discernment. The path will reveal itself but only a little bit at a time. That’s why you can’t rush this.

Scorpio

Card Pulled: Page of Swords

Tool box check time! This season wants you to spend time considering the tools and resources you have armed yourself with. Do they all still work to support you? Is something that used to help you no longer that supportive? Is it maybe even now holding you back? When we grow and evolve, the tools that got us to a certain point often can’t go past that point and that’s totally okay. If we cling to what was once working, we may miss something better suited to us.

Sagittarius

Card Pulled: The Hierophant

One of your magic spells is being able to take what you have learned and experienced and compost them into something that feeds a new way of being. You can alchemise change. This month is asking you to remember that. Trust what you know needs to be released and use it to feed a different way. Just keep in mind that that process needs patience and time. Go gently and curiously with yourself.

Capricorn

Card Pulled: Wheel of Fortune (reverse)

The balance for you in this season is going to come from your centering practices. When life is spinning all around you, how do you pull yourself back to your centre in a healthy way. Cycles of shame aren’t welcome here. Life is change. We know this. We aren’t meant to hold still and stay in control (control is an illusion after all). When things are feeling overwhelming, come back to those really basic, nourishing things that help you feel tethered to your centre.

Aquarius

Card Pulled: King of Pentacles

Wow, there's something in this season that is asking you to make shifts so you are more connected to your purpose. Our purpose is how we move through our lives and the world. It’s not a job or a role. The Queen of Pentacles (the internal leadership work needed to show up as the K of P) reminds us that we find our purpose in the way we learn to take care of ourselves and our own needs. It’s all there in the roots of our foundations. Find balance around going in (and rooting down) so you can show up and out as your most aligned self.

Pisces

Card Pulled: The Hanged One (reverse)

This is one of your cards so you know (or wrestle) with this energy well (or often). You are being asked to find balance through patience. Can you allow yourself to surrender to a piece of processing that needs doing? It’s never easy to take the time to do that but your watery nature loves a little float. Hold back on any big decisions or fiery choices in this season. When you allow yourself to process or ‘float’, the answers for things bubble up to the surface.
